Whether it’s a meeting of ten, or a gathering of 100 or more, NMTS has a space that will suit your needs. From the Jerry Smith Auditorium (capacity 100 - 150) to our conference, education, and group rooms (capacity 20), NMTS offers state-of-the art sound attenuation and audio/visual equipment in a beautiful, comfortable, fully accessible space.

NMTS’ facility is so versatile, event rentals have included panel discussions, trainings, conferences, film screenings, concerts, dances, birthday parties, recitals, holiday celebrations, fundraisers, and anything else you can dream up!

FAQs

When can I host an event?

  • Anytime! However, please be aware that NMTS’ hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 9am -7pm. Our participants may be going to and from services when an event is reserved during those hours. Dozens of conferences, panel discussions, trainings, etc. have taken place in our auditorium during our operating hours without issue.

How far in advance do we need to reserve the space?

  • There’s no hard and fast rule, but reservations are based on availability and staffing.

What is required to reserve the space?

  • A 50% deposit of the room rental fee and a building security deposit of $200.00 is required at the time of the reservation. The security deposit is refundable as long as there are no damages to equipment or property. The full rental payment is due no less than 10 days prior to the event.

Are you ADA accessible?

  • NMTS is a fully accessible space.

Is there parking available?

  • NMTS has two large parking lots, on either side of the building. In addition, the neighborhood has plenty of available street parking. There is also a drop off zone in the front driveway for folks who need the shortest distance to travel.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

  • If a reservation is cancelled in writing at least thirty 30 days prior to the event, NMTS will issue a full refund minus a $50 administration fee. There will be no refunds given for reservations cancelled with less than seven 7 days’ notice.

Is there an additional charge to use the audio/visual equipment?

Are we responsible room for setup before the event?

  • NMTS provides tables and chairs, however, NMTS does not set up the room for your event. Your event time needs to include setup/decorating, testing any A/V equipment, tear down, and clean up.

Are we responsible for cleaning up after the event?

  • Yes. This includes wiping down and putting away all tables and chairs, taking out trash, removing any leftover food or beverages, and putting away any cords or equipment used. You will be provided with cleaning supplies to leave the space as you found it.
